High School Performance in Coursework 

Goal: 60% of all students enrolled in Algebra 1 at Cedar Lane School and 93% of all students enrolled in Geometry at Cedar Lane School will pass the math course for the 2023-2024 school year.

High School Progression towards Advanced Coursework

Goal: All students requiring the EPF course will be enrolled in Honors Economics and Personal Finance. Of those students, our goal is to ensure that: 100% of our dually identified students will pass Honors EPF 100% of our students with multiple disabilities will pass Honors EPF 100% of our students with autism will pass Honors EPF 100% of our students with an emotional disability will pass Honors EPF.

Student Attendance and Absenteeism Rates 

Goal: Based upon attendance data collected in Quarter 1, we will identify a percentage goal for attendance as measured quarterly, beginning in Quarter 2 for both the entire Cedar Lane community, and our Hispanic students.

  • Strategy 1: Consult with FCPS offices that work promote student attendance, student engagement, and family partnerships to support the development of proactive and effective procedures and intervention to increase and sustain student attendance.
  • Strategy 2: Monitor student attendance data and use data to determine need for intervention and additional support.
  • Strategy 3:  Monitor student attendance data and use data to determine need for intervention and additional support.
  • Strategy 4: Relationships: Provide explicit structures and resources that enable relationship development.
