Cedar Lane employs a Level System for rewarding good behaviors and encouraging student attendance. It is a 5 tier system, which is updated every 10 school days. Students can move up or down the levels based on attendance, teacher referrals, PED misuse, tardies and SR&R offenses.
Students are given various rewards, increasing in number and "value" as they move up to Level 5. Students provide input into the rewards for each level. The Level System works in conjunction with our PBIS model.
Some rewards include the use of special lunch room locations, early dismissal to lunch, ability to play on the basketball team, and even some spontaneous rewards.
