Family Summit

Register for the Family Summit at Marshall High School on Saturday, April 20. The summit is designed for all families and will focus on providing social-emotional resources for topics such as raising resilient children and making meaningful connections. Also, resources will be available online for families of students with disabilities.

April Is Month of the Military Child

Throughout FCPS, we are recognizing the important role military children play in the armed forces community. Remember to Purple Up! on Wednesday, April 17--wear purple to celebrate military-connected youth. Read more, view slideshow, and watch videos.

Community Forums on Middle School Start Times

FCPS is exploring options for adjusting middle school start times and invites the public to be part of the process. Prismatic Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, will lead the forums.

No-Cost Online Tutoring Service

Students have unlimited access to online tutoring support services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.

FCPS To Host Instructional Job Fair on Saturday, April 27, 2024

Fairfax County Public Schools wants you to be a part of our team! We are seeking educator talent with strong student engagement skills and a passion for having a positive influence on our school communities. We are hosting a job fair on Saturday, April 27, 2024 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) at Sandburg Middle School. There will be networking and interviewing opportunities with representatives from various FCPS schools. Employment offers may be extended during the fair.
